Art is not supposed to be reality. It is human made. So don’t fear mistakes. There’s no such thing as mistakes when it comes to art. When I realized this the process of creating reached a new level of comfort, peace and joy. Every decision and every “mistake” creates the piece exactly the way it was supposed to turn out. From now on I only aim to paint from a place of acceptance and appreciation towards imperfections. Life can be perceived the same way. It is messy and incomplete,yet unbelievably beautiful. And the same applies to us humans.
